Whether you are hunting predators in no-light situations or tracking targets in dense environments full of foliage, Alpen’s Apex 640 LRF Rifle-Mounted Thermal can provide an optical edge by allowing you to “see” and pinpoint the unseeable. This thermal monocular, which has a 640x512 12 μm <20mK sensor for maximum thermal sensitivity, also functions as a laser rangefinder to deliver the precision you need to make the shot at distances of up to 1000 meters.

Available in either a 35mm or 50mm objective lens size, these rugged thermals mount directly to your rifle and are particularly suited to the AR platform. When functioning as a rifle-mounted monocular, the 35mm model has a detection distance of up to 1800 meters while the 50mm model stretches that to an impressive 2600 meters. They have an OLED display that generates vivid images with excellent contrast in your choice of six color palettes — black hot, white hot, green, iron hot, red hot or sepia. For additional versatility, they also have multiple reticle options with customized colors and five zeroing profiles for enhanced accuracy.

These devices, which are waterproof and shockproof, also offer recoil-activation automatic video recording, 32GB of internal memory and Wi-Fi functionality for live streaming to a user’s own device. To ensure reliability for long days in the field, these thermals include two rechargeable batteries to provide up to 15 hours of thermal imaging.
