ProStaff - Brian Kasten

An avid bow hunter for 40 years, Brian Kasten has harvested deer, bear, elk, caribou, coyotes, woodchucks and squirrels with a bow and is halfway through his slam of turkeys. Moose and antelope are on his bow hunting bucket list. He spends a lot of time in the woods in Vermont, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania; and hunts an average of 20 to 30 days depending on how quickly he tags out. This past year the number was closer to 10 as Brian tagged out in Vermont on the first afternoon, had 5 days in Ohio where he killed a 150 class 10 point and then a couple of days late season in Vermont. In terms of competitions, Brian has too many state titles and local shoots to mention. When he was younger, he placed a number of times in top ten International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) competitions nationally in place and in score. He continues to finish in the top 10 a number of times a year and last year started out winning the IBO Indoor World Championship in the Senior Hunter Class. This year, Brian won New England IBO shooter of the year in SHC and placed high enough in the first two IBO national Triple Crowns to make peer groups for the final leg — achieving a long time goal. Brian has been on a wide range of pro staffs since 1998. Since 2017, he has been a representative of Bowtech Inc. Regional Pro Staff New England; Gold Tip National Staff; Black Gold Premium Bowsights; Bee Stinger Stabilizers and GAS Bowstrings National Staff. In addition to being a dedicated outdoorsman, Brian has been the chef owner of The Supper Solution since 1999.
