ProStaff - Rick White

Rick White of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was introduced to the hunting tradition at the age of 8 by his father. He began hunting small game then progressed to the challenge of deer and turkeys. Rick is an accomplished turkey caller winning a number of turkey calling contests, including the Iowa State Calling Championship (11 times) and the Iowa Open (10 times) Rick has also placed at Grand Nationals and now judges some of the biggest contests in the US. Rick is a known outdoorsman, TV/DVD personality, videographer and producer, appearing on numerous DVDs and outdoor shows on the Outdoor & Sportsman channel. He also appeared on “ESPN Outdoors with Tom Miranda”, “The Break”,  “North American Whitetail” and “In Pursuit with Greg Miller”, just to name a few, where he has shared his expertise and experiences. Rick has spent many years as a full time pro-staff member for Hunters Specialties appearing in both “Primetime Buck” and “Cutt’n & Strutt’n” video series. Now Rick is currently partnered with Josh McCain appearing in the new hunting DVD series called “Through The Eyes Of A Hunter, Turkey Hunting” where he is not only in front of the camera but behind the camera as well. When Rick is not hunting or filming/producing, he travels the country conducting seminars on turkey and deer hunting, sharing his knowledge and passion for the outdoors with others.
